What stays on your Mac
Snapset stores workspace names, app identifiers, file and folder references, links, window titles, window positions, display details and preferences locally on your Mac. Souva does not receive or operate cloud storage for this workspace data.
- No workspace account
- No analytics or advertising SDKs
- No uploaded file paths, window titles or layouts
Accessibility permission
macOS Accessibility access lets Snapset read and restore the position and size of ordinary application windows you choose. This processing happens on your Mac. You can remove access at any time in System Settings; launching workspace items will continue to work without window restoration.
Payments and license keys
Polar Software Inc. processes checkout, tax, payment, license delivery and the customer portal. Snapset sends the license key you enter, the Souva organization identifier, a device label and the Polar activation identifier to Polar’s customer license API to activate and validate the purchase. The license key and activation identifier are stored in your macOS Keychain, not UserDefaults.
Network use
The workspace engine works offline. Network access is used only for Polar license validation, customer purchase and portal pages, and future Sparkle update checks after a signed update feed is enabled. A successfully validated license receives a seven-day offline grace period.
Website and support
The website host may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser, requested page and time for security and delivery. If you email hello@souva.co, Souva uses your address and message only to answer your request and keep any necessary support record.
Your choices
You can delete workspaces inside Snapset, deactivate the current Mac, remove Accessibility permission, clear the app’s local data by deleting it, and manage purchases through the Polar customer portal. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@souva.co.
