Accessibility is enabled but Snapset says it is paused
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. If Snapset is already listed but the app still cannot restore windows, remove that old row, open the current signed Snapset build and request access again. macOS should ask for approval only once for builds carrying the same stable signature.
A window was skipped
Open the target app and its ordinary window, arrange it where you want, then choose Save Layout again. Temporary panels, menus, minimized windows and apps that do not expose standard Accessibility windows cannot always be captured.
A file, folder or app moved
Snapset keeps missing items in the workspace instead of deleting them. Edit the workspace and use Locate Again, or remove the old item and add its new location.
License activation
Copy the license key from your Polar purchase email or customer portal and paste it into Snapset → Settings → License. A license can be active on up to three Macs. Deactivate an old Mac in Snapset or the customer portal before activating another one.
What to include in a support email
Send the Snapset version, macOS version, Mac model, the app or window that failed, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot is helpful. Never email your full license key; the masked ending is enough.
- Snapset and macOS versions
- Affected app and window
- Steps that reproduce the issue
- Masked license key only, when relevant
